Anderson
Born on 13th April, 1988, at Porto Alegre, Brazil, Anderson, went on to honor the Brazil football representing his country.
Christened as the new Ronaldinho, The forward position player, Anderson, Joined United on 01st July, 2007 and made his debut against Sutherland on 01st September
Since, then the wonder kid has already made 10 appearances in his short span of career.
A Leaf from the History:
Anderson, as a youth player had joined Grêmio and marked his first impact in 2005, when he scored a goal that got Grêmio back in Serie A against Nautico. The goal, Anderson scored had some special element attached to it, as Grêmio had just 7 players at that particular point of time, and their opposition had just saved a goal then. Anderson’s goal gave Grêmio an unassailable lead of 1-0 in the match in the most adverse circumstances.
The Glory
After his first 5 team appearances (Only) with Grêmio, he joined FC Porto in December and made his league debut on March, ’06. Anderson again played a vital role in helping his team grab the Portuguese Championship then.
Very soon, Anderson made his UEFA Championship debut as well, against CSKA Moscow.
The Ugly
But unfortunately, he had to miss almost half a year of 2006-07 due to his broken leg, which he over powered soon with his immense will power and determination.
Retuning back to Laurels
30th May 2007: It was revealed on the website of Manchester United club, that they had decided to sign in Anderson from FC Porto for an undisclosed fee, which was later reported to be somewhere around £17m.
On 3rd August, 2007, he made his Manchester United debut, which his team won by 2-0. He was wearing the number 8 jersey then. More accolades poured in, when he displayed a Man of the Match performance to help united to a 4-2 win over Dynamo Kyiv. In his short international career so far, he has already won the Adidas Golden Ball with his national team at the 2005 FIFA world cup.

If Anderson starts to live up to the expectations of the millions, the Premiership and European defenders are certainly gong to have sleepless nights to work out strategies to counter this wonder kind.
